Stuart Patience is my pen and ink artist inspiration. He is my artist inspiration because of how clean his work is. It looks as if everything was drawn perfectly. He mostly uses weighted line which I like because this technique makes some of his drawings look like they're black and white pictures. Also, the subjects in his work are very unique. My charcoal artist inspiration is Joel Daniel Phillips. There are many reasons I love his work. One major thing I am drawn to in his charcoal projects is the size. Phillips makes all of his projects life size. He makes his projects meaningful as he perfects portraits of the dislocated division of the San Francisco population.
